Terms of Use

By installing or using the AWS BucketBuddy VS Code extension ("the Extension"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

License

BucketBuddy is provided free of charge under a proprietary license. Sarvatix Solutions grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

Permitted use

  • You may install and use the Extension on any number of machines you own or control.
  • You may use the Extension for personal projects, internal business use, and client work.

Prohibited use

  • You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or repackage the Extension or any part of it.
  • You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension.
  • You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Extension.

No warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Sarvatix Solutions makes no warranties regarding fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or availability.

Important: live operations on Amazon S3

BucketBuddy performs live, irreversible operations on your Amazon S3 buckets — including deletion of objects and folders. Data loss from deletion is permanent unless your bucket has versioning enabled. Always enable versioning on buckets containing important data.

Sarvatix Solutions and Krish Kanchinadam accept no liability for data loss, accidental deletion, corrupted transfers, or any other damages arising from use of the Extension.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sarvatix Solutions and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Extension.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
